Lauren Peterson

I have been a Potter for nearly 30 years. I began my pottery at a small Co Op in Edmonds Washington. For several years, I participated in Large Art Shows and sold my pottery through Wholesale and Retail Shops. After taking a short sabbatical, I moved to Spokane in 2017 and had to start over. I reached out to Betty Largent and under her supervision; I volunteered to help out with the paint restoration of the Looff Carrousel at Riverfront Park.

I decided to return to my pottery and joined the Urban Art Co Op, where I have been throwing pots for the past two years and participating in their events. All of my pottery is wheel thrown, hand painted and functional ware. All of my paintings are inspired by the things that I love and experience in life.
