Fresh From The Heart
Decades of sewing and my love of textiles have led me to sharing my passion with you. I started sewing at the tender age of seven, making Barbie doll clothes. A few years later I started making clothes for myself. Then I was on to real baby clothes and bedding for my own boys. I’ve never looked back!
I vividly remember the first time I walked into a real quilt shop. Wow! The colors and textures were amazing! A new direction for my passion was born. I have completed eight cotton and flannel quilts for my family, quilting all but one myself. The one I had professionally quilted was entered into the Washington State Quilters (WSQ) quilt show in 2010.
You will find embroidery and quilting techniques incorporated into my products. I enjoy finding new uses for old things, such as vintage earrings and silverware as zipper pulls. Whatever you choose, you’ll find quality, one-of-a-kind items handmade by me. I hope you will enjoy using them as much as I enjoyed making them.
